Student Support Assistant with Behaviour Management focus
36.25 hours per week, 43.3 weeks per year (term time plus 5 training days)
Hours: 8.00am to 4.00pm
Pay Range 8-10 Full time equivalent £16,103pa to £16,470pa incl. LW £857pa (pro-rata)

Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy is a state-funded non-selective, all-ability, non-denominational secondary school. We pride ourselves on the expertise of our teaching staff, a safe and supportive atmosphere for pupils, a broad and balanced curriculum (complemented by a programme of Enterprise and STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and the high standards we expect of our students and ourselves.
We are seeking to appoint efficient, enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication skills to work with young people in our busy school. You will be approachable, calm, caring but firm, with clear expectations. Experience in supporting students with behaviour difficulties is essential for this post, as is a confidence in managing challenging behaviour and using de-escalation techniques. A high standard of literacy and numeracy is essential for this post, as is the enthusiasm to help raise the achievement of students. You will be confident in building positive relationships with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to help them progress both socially and academically.
